Is my insurance accepted?
Our office accepts most major health insurance carriers, the following health
insurance plans we do not accept are:
- Tufts Medicare Preferred
- Tufts Steward EPO
- Fallon Steward Plan
- RI Medicaid
Why am I receiving a bill?
A co-payment is a flat fee established by your carrier that is paid upfront during the time of service. This fee is often printed on your health insurance card. A deductible is a set amount you pay for services before your health insurance begins to pay. Co-insurance is your share of the costs for the service provided with your health insurance company. Your bill will say if the amount owed is a co-pay, deductible or co-insurance.
